This is me after my first knee surgery -- with my little brother. I was nine. My brother isn't so little anymore. And I'm not either, for that matter. (Like the sweater? Grandma Bluma knitted it.)
On Jan. 23, 2007, I had a total knee replacement in my right leg. This was my 7th knee surgery. Hopefully I won’t need another for a very long time. I'm 45. This blog has become an outlet for me and a place of healing; I hope it can help others as well. Please contribute. I certainly can’t do this alone. Needless to say, I am representing only myself. That means it has absolutely nothing to do with my employer or really, anyone else. -- Janet
